Aldo Ferrente, Violin
Born in
Torre del Greco (Naples) in 1965, he brilliantly obtained the Diploma of
Violin in 1989, and afterwards partecipated in the masterclasses of
Giuseppe Prencipe (Concertmaster of Santa Cecilia Symphony Orchestra,
Rome) and Giulio Franzetti (Concertmaster of "La Scala" Theatre Orchestra,
Milan) for violin at Ischia and Orvieto, and Piero Farulli (Viola of
"Quartetto Italiano) and the Trio di Trieste for string quartet and
chamber music at Fiesole School of Music (Florence). Winner of several
national competitions for young violinists, was judges to be qualified
after auditions for the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana (Italian Youth
Orchestra) as principal secon violin and assistent concertmaster, the
Jeunesse du Méditerranée, the RAI Orchestras of Naples and Rome, and the
Orchestra of the Rome Opera House, and was winner of the auditions for
permanent positions in the Orchestras of the San Carlo Theatre of Naples
and "V. Bellini" Theatre of Catania, where he is currently engaged.
He is also engaged as violin lecturer both at the schools of music of
Gela and Caltagirone. In 2007 he obtained a Academic Degree in Musical
Disciplines at the University of Catania’s Music Institute. |

Antonio De Simone, Violin
Born in Cosenza in
1967, he pursued his musical studies in the Music Conservatory of his
city, obtaining his Diploma in Violin brilliantly in 1990. He then studied
further with George Monch and partecipated in the courses held by
Pavel Vernikov and Corrado Romano. Has been concertizing since a young age
and has performed as soloist and in chamber groups for some of the major
Italian and foreign concert associations. Winner of several national
competitions for young violinists, has also played in the Orchestras of
Rome Opera House and the "V. Bellini" Theatre of Catania, of which he
currently is a member often as Principal Secon Violin. |

Vincenzo Di
Ruggiero,Viola
Born in Naples
in 1965, after receiving the Diploma of Viola attended the professional
courses for orchestra and chamber music at Fiesole School of Music
(Florence) with Carlo Pozzi (Principal Viola of RAI Symphony Orchestra of
Turin), Giuseppe Prencipe (Concertmaster of Santa Cecilia Symphony
Orchestra, Rome) and the Trio di Trieste. Winner of a study grant for the
"W. Stauffer" School of Music in Cremona, he studied subsequently with
Bruno Giuranna. Has performed in concerts with various chamber music
ensembles (quartet, quintet etc.). Judged to be qualified after auditions
with diverse lyric-symphonic orchestras, has played in several orchestras
including theOrchestra Giovanile Italiana (Italian Youth Orchestra) the
RAI Orchestras of Naples and Milan, and the Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra
of Milan. Since 1992 is engaged in the Orchestra of the "V. Bellini"
Theatre of Catania. |

Marco Bologna, Cello
Born in Naples in 1968, he completed his studies at S. Pietro a
Maiella Conservatory of Music in the same city, under the guidance of
Eugenio Salvatore, further continuing his studies with Franco Maggio
Ormezowsky. Has succesfully partecipated in national and
international chamber music competitions with various groups (trio,
quartet, quintet). Has played in diverse lyric-symphonic orchestras of
international level, including the Orchestra of San Carlo Theatre of
Naples, the Orchestra of the Rome Opera House and the RAI Symphony
Orchestra of Naples. Currently he is a member of the Orchestra of the "V.
Bellini" Theatre of Catania
